The Downside of This Great Game:
For an added challenge, the residents of the houses sometimes appear while you’re robbing. They appear as white shadows so you can track their movements. You can hide inside and around houses—including trash cans and closets. You can also drive away, especially if the police are called after tripping the alarm system.
However, the thief’s getaway car is more of a hindrance than a help. Even the cars in Far Cry are better. They drive slowly and often collide with pedestrians, making escape pointless.
The AI isn’t smart either. It’s easy to avoid homeowners if you hide in the shadows. On the other hand, pedestrians appear out of nowhere at the worst times. Furthermore, you can break into a few properties without any consequences.

The Thief Simulator 1.7 update adds a few new features, including a new and unique contract system, as well as a set of side quests that reward you with items and experience points upon completion.
